Travis Rouillard, Senior Vice President
Travis has over fifteen years of experience in enterprise application integration in the banking and utility industries. He helps utility clients define and execute their integration strategies, typically as part of large-scale business process and system reengineering efforts. As an experienced technical architect, Travis develops comprehensive strategies, solutions, and roadmaps for complex back-office integration problems. Travis brings an impeccable record as a project and program manager, delivering successful, on-time, on-budget solutions. His specialty is distributed, service-oriented middleware solutions for metering, demand response, billing, trading, clearing, settlement, and risk management.
Travis has a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- UISOL. Clients include PJM Interconnection (PJM), NV Energy (Nevada), Midwest ISO (MISO), Sempra Utilities (SDG&E), Long Island Power Authority (LIPA), Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), California Independent System Operator (CAISO), and Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).
- Integration Consultant. Energy clients include CAISO, PG&E, and Planergy/Xcel Energy. Managed large-scale middleware projects at McKesson (the world’s largest healthcare solution firm) and Aozora Bank in Tokyo.
- PG&E. Director Technical Architecture. Worked in the Office of the CIO to align enterprise integration plans with business line strategies. This included a large, three-year program to integrate trading systems via middleware to improve enterprise risk management. Designed metering, billing, and scheduling solutions for an energy services business line, helping it grow by 10,000 new commercial customers.
- Ernst & Young. Management Consultant. Helped build the energy trading and risk management practice during the early stages of electricity deregulation.
- Bank of America. Senior Systems Engineer. Developed real-time, mission-critical foreign-exchange trading applications using the bank’s proprietary publish/subscribe middleware. Supported global application deployments with overseas assignments in London and Hong Kong.
