Project Objective
Enable a Federal West Coast Hydro-generator and Transmission Operator to participate in the upcoming redesigned California ISO (CAISO) market known as “MRTU” (Market Redesign and Technology Upgrade).
Project Scope
The California ISO is making a number of major changes to its market protocols and technology to move from a zonal to a nodal market. All market participants need to make changes to their business processes and computer applications to be able to participate in the new market.
UISOL is retained to lead the preparation efforts for participation in the new market.
