Integrated Demand Side Management (IDSM)
Project Objective
Defining, designing and developing a roadmap for an on-line customer portal for IDSM and related back-office Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functions to enable increased customer participation in Energy Efficiency (EE), Self-Generation, and Demand Response programs, and enhance compliance with California Energy Commission mandates.
Project Scope
Performed needs assessment, developed requirements specifications and high-level design, as well as an implementation roadmap for IDSM Clearinghouse at a West Coast Investor Owned Utility (IOU).
The IDSM Clearinghouse will facilitate coordination of energy efficiency efforts of the IOU, Local Government Initiatives, and Third Party Partnerships. It will streamline transactions among parties and will generate reports for the IOU Target Market, Mass Market, Low Income, Demand Response, Distributed Generation Government Initiatives, and Third Party Partnerships.
